By continually going above and beyond for his clients with a perpetual smile on his face, Kevin Haghighat stands out for his dedication and continued commitment to professional excellence, and has been named the winner of the Cogeco Data Services and 680 News Very Important Techie (VIT) Contest.

A computer technician at York University for the past 12 years, and a computer programmer/web developer, Kevin was selected from over 200 entries and awarded the grand prize.

As the only full-time technician in the Kinesiology department, serving over 90 staff and over 1000 students, Kevin genuinely cares about the concerns of his clients, no matter how small or large the problem; he is always willing to go out of his way to help others, while keeping a positive and happy attitude. An amazing and effective teacher, he excites the users about technology and encourages them to learn and build their confidence with all things IT.
