TV2GO provides broadcaster, corporate and sports clients with leading edge, live, High Definition television transmission and satellite production services. With a staff of 10 employees, the company operates Canada's only HD C-band uplink truck and is licensed to work anywhere in North America.

The company's international teleport, located in Toronto, offers clients full production and post production capabilities. Pioneers in HD sports distribution. TV2GO also offers much of its transmission technology in a mobile format.

As a live HD transmission provider, TV2GO is faced with the challenge of ensuring live sports broadcasts for some of the world's leading sports leagues, such as the NFL, are transmitted with sufficient bandwidth and without interruption. Given this requirement it is essential that TV2GO's network service provider is able to provide reliable and extreme bandwidth without restrictions.

After learning more about these specific needs Cogeco Data Services worked with TV2GO to create a cost effective solution capable of handling the company's demanding bandwidth requirements in an effective and reliable manner.

Cogeco Data developed a Managed Wavelength solution connecting TV2GO with its New York based program suppliers. The connectivity mimics an OC-48 using Wave Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology and is capable of supporting up to 8 simultaneous HD programs. Backed by reliability guarantees, the service helps TV2GO serve its broad customer base and has helped deliver the 2010-11 NFL season to European and Asian audiences.
